The Coffee Pod is a Social Enterprise project located at TIRC, in Boherbee, Tralee.

Our Mission

The mission of The Coffee Pod is to provide training and work experience to International Protection Applicants, Refugees and the wider migrant community. This enables them to integrate into Irish society through normal everyday interactions, and facilitates employment opportunities. It also is a wonderful tool for integration, allowing cultures to connect over a cup of coffee.

Our coffee pod operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm, excluding weekends and public holidays. You’re always welcome to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch with us.

Our menu includes:

homemade sweet pastries
sweet and savoury croissants
sandwiches, panini and wraps with a variety of fresh fillings
seasonal drinks, tea, and finest coffee from Cloud Picker Coffee Roasters.

The Dome

For your comfort, especially on cold and rainy days, we also offer a beautiful transparent dome, fully equipped with tables and chairs, with a maximum capacity of up to 24 people.
